JEFFREY BRABHAM, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Brabham was raised in Tampa, Florida and earned his bachelor’s degree in history cum laude from Dartmouth College. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors in research and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. While at the University of Florida, he also earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Warrington College of Business.
Dr. Brabham completed both his internship in internal medicine and his residency in radiation oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. While in residency, Dr. Brabham served as chief resident and was a member of the Indiana University Graduate Medical Education Committee. He has authored scientific studies on the clinical, physical, and biological aspects of radiation oncology that have been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at major medical meetings across the United States.
Dr. Brabham has extensive training and clinical experience in three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), proton therapy, gynecologic brachytherapy, and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT/SABR). He is certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology and has practiced in Tavares since 2009.
Dr. Brabham has a passion for delivering state-of-the-art cancer care that is personalized to the physical and emotional circumstances of each of his patients.

ADRIENNE DAVIS, MS, DABR
MEDICAL PHYSICIST
Adrienne, who considers herself a Jersey Girl was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. Receiving her bachelor’s degree from Gwynedd Mercy University, Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Adrienne trained at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia.
After practicing as a Radiation Therapist and Dosimetrist for many years, Adrienne eventually furthered her education at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she obtained a master’s degree in Health Physics. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics. Adrienne enjoys academics and recently returned to Gwynedd Mercy University to acquire a Graduate Certificate in Health Care Administration. She is passionate about her career, believes she was called to serve, and is delighted to be part of the Florida Oncology Tavares team!
Adrienne lives locally and enjoys yoga, bicycling, and gardening with her husband, Bill. Her two children, Rachel and JD, who have both completed master’s degrees, reside in South Florida. Her best vacations involve the beach, especially the Jersey Shore with old friends.
JULIE MUHR
Practice Manager
Julie brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare and business operations, with a passion for creating environments where patients receive compassionate, high-quality care and team members feel supported and empowered to thrive.
Recognized for her approachable leadership style, collaborative mindset, and commitment to excellence, Julie focuses on driving operational efficiency, building strong relationships, and fostering positive experiences for both patients and staff. Her extensive leadership background enables her to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a steadfast commitment to patient-centered care.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Julie values integrity, teamwork, and service. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and actively participating in charitable and community initiatives.
MARY BARNETT, R.N., B.S.N., N.P.
CLINIC NURSE
Mary is an Arkansas native with many years of clinical experience in oncology care in central Florida. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science and Registerd Nurse Practitioner degrees at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She worked as a bone marrow transplant nurse and an oncology education specialist at Florida Hospital Orlando before transitioning to radiation oncology nursing in 2009.
While working in radiation oncology, she served as a Florida Hospital Spiritual Ambassador and won the Florida Hospital Nursing Excellence Award. Mary is uniquely capable of delivering compassionate, holistic nursing care to each patient with knowledge base that encompasses a broad range of oncologic sub-specialities.
Yarianiz "Yari" Stangle, CCMA
Medical Assistant
Yari was born in North Carolina. For half of her life, she lived in The Republic of Panama.
Once Yari moved back to the United States, she obtained her Bank Teller Certificate and worked at a financial institution as their Head Teller for many years. As time passed Yari wanted to help individuals in a different way and decided to join the medical field.
Yari went to college graduating with honors while earning an A.A.S in Medical Assisting in 2015. She has worked in Neurology, Medical Marijuana, Gastroenterology, Pain Management, Podiatry, Dermatology and the Electron Radiation Department. She held positions as a Clinical Supervisor, Transcriptionist, Electromyographer, Medical Assistant, Surgical Coordinator and Patient Education.
Yari loves spending her free time going on adventures and creating memories that will last forever with her family and friends.
JASON LAHER, CMD
MEDICAL DOSIMETRIST
Jason was born in Maryland but considers himself a Florida native due to growing up on the east coast of Florida since the age of two. After serving in the United State Air Force he began his career in the field of Radiation Oncology in West Texas before he moved back to his home state to gain more experience as a Radiation Therapist.
He completed his residency for Medical Dosimetry at the UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health and then increased his knowledge and skill set at the Miami Cancer Institute before setting down roots in Tampa. This journey has afforded him over 5 years of experience in Radiation Oncology including treatment planning in 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT/SABR, TomoTherapy and Proton modalities, in addition to working with world renown Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists and other Radiation Oncology staff. When not working with the awesome team at Florida Oncology Tavares he and his wife enjoy volleyball, spikeball and going for runs with their dog, Dexter.
ALICIA CHIN-QUEE, R.T. (R) (T)
LEAD RADIATION THERAPIST
Surprisingly to most, Alicia was born and raised on the tiny island of Jamaica in the Caribbean. She migrated to Miami, Florida after graduating high school, where she earned her B.S. in Computer Science from Florida International University. After a life-altering experience, she was drawn to the medical field and returned to school to earn her A.S. in Radiologic Technology from Miami Dade College, followed by her Radiation Therapy Certificate from Halifax Medical Center.
Alicia has been a Radiation Therapist since 1995 and brings her vast knowledge of patient care, technical expertise, and leadership to our office. Prior to joining us, she spent 14 years at AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, FL, where she served as the Lead Radiation Therapist.
Alicia’s love and commitment to her patients extend into her community involvement. She enjoys participating in fundraisers, especially those benefiting cancer patients.
In her spare time, Alicia enjoys relaxing at home in Minneola with her husband, Dennis. Their three children are grown and live in Central Florida, and she proudly considers them her greatest achievements and joy. She also makes time to dabble in her hobbies of crafts, cooking, baking, and creating her infamous cake pop bouquets.
MAYRA ALVA, R.T. (T)
RADIATION THERAPIST
Born and raised in South Florida, Mayra has always had a strong passion for helping others. She immediately knew this was the career for her after shadowing radiation therapists for a day at Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa her freshman year in college. With the unconditional support of her husband and her loving parents, Mayra received her A.S in Radiation Therapy from Hillsborough Community College in 2017. After working for Orlando Health for four years, she joined Florida Oncology Tavares in 2021. In 2022, she graduated from Valencia College with her bachelor’s degree in radiologic and imaging sciences.
Mayra loves being a mom to her two girls, whom she adores more than anything in this world and would talk about them all day if she could. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and loves to dance. Mayra is more than excited to continue her journey as a Radiation Therapist here at Florida Oncology Tavares and aspires to give the best care possible.
Allison Perri, R.T. (T)
RADIATION THERAPIST
Allison, who was born and raised in Florida, has always had a passion for healthcare. After exploring various paths, she found her calling in radiation therapy. In 2023, she graduated with her degree from Cambridge College of Healthcare and Technology. Prior to pursuing her career in healthcare, Allison spent five years working in the restaurant industry gaining valuable experiences and a strong work ethic.
Her initial interest was in sonography, but after discovering radiation therapy, she quickly changed her career path. Allison is passionate about helping patients and making a positive impact in their lives through personalized radiation treatments.
Outside of work, Allison finds joy in different hobbies such as kickboxing, painting and traveling.
LATOYA GOSNELL
INSURANCE SPECIALIST/MEDICAL
LaToya was born and raised in Eustis, Florida. She has been in the medical field since 2005. During that time to the present, she has spread her passion for helping others through working in the Mental Health field, various Healthcare facilities, and in Cardiology.
LaToya is a blessed wife and a proud mother of 3 and a grandmother of 2 beautiful granddaughters. LaToya enjoys spending time in fellowship, spending time with her family as well as traveling.
